Institutional Quality Assurance Cell of Daffodil International Universityorganized a day-long International Training of Trainers (ToT) on “How to Publish Articles in Impact Factor Enriched and Good Indexed Journals and Preparation for PhD Program” on 26 December, 2016 at its own premises. Dr. Mustafa K. Mujeri, Executive Director, Institute for Inclusive Finance and Development inaugurated the training program as Chief Guest.

Professor Dr. Aminul Islam, Emeritus Professor, Daffodil International University (DIU) and Professor A. M.M. Hamidur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Humanities & Social Science, DIU were present as Special Guests of the ToT while Professor Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Director, IQAC, DIU chaired the session.

There were three other working sessions of the ToT where:Professor Dr. Mohammad Zia-ulHoque, World Business Institute (WBI), Australiadelivered keynote paper on How to Publish Articles in Impact Factor Enriched and Good Indexed Journals; FarhanaFerdousi, PhD Research Fellow, Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia delivered the keynote paper on readiness for PhD program and Dr. Hafiz T.A. Khan, Senior Lecturer, Middlesex University, UK and visiting fellow, University of Oxford delivered keynote paper on use of software in qualitative analysis for doing research in good impact factor journals respectively.

The closing session of the ToT was graced by the Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University Professor Dr. YousufMahbubul Islam while Professor Dr. Abdul Awal Biswas, Director, IQAC, Shahjalal University of Science & Technology, Sylhet was present as Special Guest. Professor Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Director, IQAC, DIU chaired the concluding session.

 

Professor Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Additional Director, IQAC, DIU offered vote of thanks to the guests and participants of the program. About fifty faculty members of different departments of the University participated in the training program. Among others, IQAC officials were also present in the ToT.
